Cookie policy

This policy explains how this website (“Site”) uses cookies and similar technologies, and how we use browser storage for a simple cookie notice preference.

Microsoft Clarity (analytics)

We use Microsoft Clarity to collect usage data such as session replays, heatmaps, and related metrics to improve the Site’s structure, performance, and content. Clarity is categorised here as analytics / performance tooling, not as a strictly necessary security cookie. Technical and privacy details are described by Microsoft in their product documentation and privacy materials.

How Clarity is loaded on this Site

The Clarity script is included on pages of the Site so that measurement can run without waiting for interaction with the cookie banner. The banner informs you of this practice; choosing Accept records an acknowledgement in your browser (see below) and hides the banner — it does not act as an on/off switch for Clarity on this implementation.

First-party preference (local storage)

When you click Accept on the cookie banner, we may store a value such as cutitaru_cookie_ack in localStorage so the banner stays dismissed on future visits from the same browser. This is not used for cross-site advertising.

To clear that preference, use your browser’s settings to remove site data for this domain, or run in the developer console: localStorage.removeItem('cutitaru_cookie_ack') and reload the page.

Site visit notifications (first-party)

On your first page load in a browser tab session, the Site may send a lightweight request to our server with the current path, referrer, language, time zone, and screen size. The server combines that with standard technical data (such as your IP address and user agent) to derive an approximate location and may send a one-time operational notification (for example to the site operator via Telegram). This is limited to at most one such notification per public IP address per hour and is not used for advertising.

Other technologies

The Site may load fonts from Google Fonts; those requests may be logged by Google under their policies. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) may also be generated when you request pages or submit forms.

Your choices

You can control cookies and storage through your browser settings, use privacy-focused browsers or extensions, and read our Privacy policy for a broader view of personal data.
